(NORRISTOWN, PA - February 2, 2009) Waco Filters, the nation's largest privately held filter distributor, announced today the acquisition of the San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego branches of Flanders Precisionaire ASHRAE filtration sales and distribution division. These branches have a long and successful history of selling filter products on the West Coast having started as Eco-Air direct sales offices in 1971.  The California acquisition follows shortly after the acquisition of the Precisionaire filter distribution business in Pennsylvania in October of 2008.

Jeff Rose, the president and CEO of Waco, envisions a seamless and rapid transition to Waco offices and shipping-storage facilities.  Rose stated that "We have had a very hardworking transition team in place since October dedicated to achieving a successful integration."

Waco believes that the acquisition will benefit its current customers as well as the prior Flanders Precisionaire customers.  The nationwide distribution capabilities of Waco will be strengthened and the previous Flanders customers will be offered a broader range of filtration products, together with Waco's widely recognized top flight customer service.
